How Your Contributions
Support CVIM Dental Services
CVIM leverages the generosity
of our many clinical volunteers to provide services and offset costs
we would otherwise incur by paying wages and benefits. Seven local
dentists volunteer their time to treat CVIM patients in our dental
clinic each month, and numerous others see patients we refer in
their private offices. Despite this generosity, our ability to meet
the needs of qualified patients who need dental care falls far short.
CVIM employs a part-time dentist,
a full-time dental assistant, and four part-time dental hygienists
to ensure our ability to treat patients with the most crucial emergency
needs along with other patients. But, even with paid staff, more
than 1,600 qualified people are currently waiting for an appointment
for CVIM dental services.
