As part of our integrated programs, our patients have access to medications without the worry of financial barriers through our

in-house dispensary and Medication Assistance Program.

No Cost to Established Patients: The medication team is tailored for our established patients, ensuring they receive their medications at no cost. This removes financial barriers, allowing individuals and families to prioritize their health without worry. Patients are able to leave with medications in hand following medical and dental appointments. We also offer one on one medication education with our pharmacist.

The success of our in-house dispensary is made possible through community support, grants, and partnerships.

Medication Services

How MAP & In-House Dispensary Works:

  • Patient Applications to Pharmaceutical Companies: We navigate patient assistance programs and process patient applications to pharmaceutical companies. This ensures that our patients can access medications provided through these programs at no cost.

  • Bulk Purchases at Discount Prices: Through strategic partnerships with Mount Nittany Health, Direct Relief, and AmeriCares, we leverage the power of bulk purchases. This allows us to obtain discounted medications, ensuring cost-effective solutions for our patients.

  • Reduced-Cost Prescriptions at Partner Pharmacies: CVIM extends its reach by paying for patient prescriptions at reduced costs through our network of partner pharmacies, such as Wegman’s and Boalsburg Apothecary. This collaborative effort ensures that medications are not only accessible but also affordable for our patients.

Questions related to medications obtained through MAP or required documents can be sent to our MAP Coordinator, Tiffany, at twalden@cvim.net
